Lovely room in a lovely location for a really reasonable cost. Stayed for an event but made a trip out to lincoln the following day by train. Really relaxing place, thoroughly recommended.

Very clean rooms, excellent breakfast, stunning rural location, lovely and quiet, local pub (Green Man) had excellent food and real ales.
Staff could be hard to find when checking in/out, no food or bar on site although local pub (3/4 mile walk) was excellent and a drop off and pick up service was offered by the hotel if needed.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The family room we stayed in was excellent, 1 very large double, 2 singles and still plenty of room for a cot. Breakfast was buffet style and included full english, a selection of cereals and tea & coffee, very good. The location was very quite away from any main roads. Would definitely recommend to a friend and will use again if in the area again.
There was no bar area which would be good if there was a group of friends staying there together.

I chose to stay at Norton Lodge because of its location and setting. I’m always away on business and a good night’s rest is important to me. The location is ideal as it’s only 5 mins from the A46 with easy access to surrounding towns. The owners are great; I was even offered a lift to and from the pub! They don’t always serve an evening meal which is dependent on numbers of guests. However this is not a problem as there is a good pub half a mile down the road who offer bar and restaurant meals. I did manage to have a great night’s sleep as there is no road noise, so if you don’t mind a lovely remote location I would strongly recommend this hotel ! I will definitely be using it again!
Need to find the staff at reception for checking in and out.

As i attend a Evening meeting here once a month, it makes sense to stay the night. Rooms are always very clean and well presented. As with my previous stays at this hotel, the staff are very friendly and polite, and always there to help. Always enjoy a bar meal and drinks that are made available to our meeting. Excellent Buffet Breakfast has a wide choice and is fresh. Would recommend this lodge if you like to be in the country and away from noise, as this place is both secure and safe.

The place is really clean, an important factor. The breakfast was very good, rooms maybe a bit on the small side but are extremely clean and tidy I would definitely stay there again there is no bar which if you require peace and quite is very good

Norton Lodge was a short break for us. We all enjoyed our stay including the excellant breakfast. We enjoyed suddenly finding the place down a lane.

The room was warm with fluffy towels for the bathroom. Large flat TV screen , tea ,coffee etc was readily available in the room. Despite being a little late arriving we had a nice welcome from the front desk. Breakfast was well presented , fair selection of products on offer all fresh. Tea and coffee was also freely available. Hot counter and surround was all clean , tables/cloths fresh which made for a very pleasant start to the day.
tea and coffee was avaliable in the room , howver my daughter only drinks hot chocolate -this was not provided. clearer sign for reception/entrance as it was dark and raining when we arrived and we had a little trouble locating the reception in the dark!

A comfortable motel in a quiet location but not far from main motorway route, Good for a quiet overnight stay. Good eggs for breakfast.
The 14 acres of scenic countryside is a flat soggy paddock, so dont expect a pleasant walk taking in the scenery. The key lock system on our first room could not be made to work. Fortunately that meant a relocation to a downstairs room. The lock on that was fiddly at best. Its a bit of a odd layout of a motel , not very aesthetically pleasing. The door to the bathroom would not shut properly - hinges need adjustment.
